That warm and fuzzy feeling

I saw this guy and felt like I needed to try for him. I was a bit puzzled as to how to draw him, and then had the idea of trying to draw without linearts. It's been... Well, I can't even recall how long it has actually been since I last used this technique, takes a lot more effort than usual but was actually quite relaxing and fun I'm still trying to work through my art block, but this guy really inspired me. I can just hope he gets to stay with me <3 Sadly my writer's block is even bigger than art-wise, so I just can't force my poor little brain to write in English and - even more sadly, very few people can actually read Finnish xD

I have plans to get back to business with all my fantasy equines, a new project for all the non-Nordies and this fella would fit straight in.

Personality: While Lavino might not look like your manliest stud, he has very high self-esteem and is the king of flirtation. He is brave and doesn't get phased by much. He likes beautiful things and all that shines, he is highly drawn to sparkly objects. He abslolutely hates dirt and self-hygiene is highly important to him. One could say he is quite vain indeed. Lavino is also quite the romantic, he likes big gestures and sweet-talking, all that jazz.

Background: Lavino was found wandering around the premises of a large equine facility. At first he would not let anyone near him, but as some time rolled by leaves stuck to his mane, dirt covered his silky coat and his overall appearance started to face. One day he just stepped on to the yard and allowed himself to be caught. Once he was all bathed and groomed, he was so satisfied he just would not want to leave. He seemed to adapt so quickly to the stable life that the staff suspected he had been stabled before. Where, they had no idea and as no one ever came to claim the beautiful animal, he was welcome to stay.
