Watchful eyes

Happy birthday *ThatDenver!

Just a few words about the artwork itself: It is obviously (at least I'm hoping) Pilgrim 660. I've had crazy past spring applying for schools and going to the tests to apply etc, so when the final test was over yesterday I couldn't wait to get some artwork done. So I sat down and thought about how and what I would do for Denver this year. You 20 year old crazy you. At this moment I feel suddenly so old :C I decided to go for traditional and ended up using pastel blocks, polycrayons, white gel pen and acrylic paint. And tons and tons of fixative. I had no idea if all the particles would actually work together and how I would do this madness altogether. But I sort of just threw it together as I went and was surprised by how non-crazy it turned out. Those who might have thought that I don't like traditional or what ever, do know that I actually adore traditional artwork and I consider it much much more hard work than digital. Sure, both can be messed up quite easily but with digital you can always just fix things, with traditional sometimes when you mess badly enough it's just messed up and that's that. The size of this is A4, I wanted to do A3 originally but was too lazy to look for that sized papers from some hidden stash of mine

A few other words: I've known Denver for... I don't even remember anymore More closely since like 2009 or 2010? Or along those lines anyway, I think. SEE, I'M TOO OLD TO EVEN REMEMBER THESE THINGS AAHHH She's a funny and a genuinely nice person, who doesn't like to get into fights or arguments. She goes by rules and you absolutely never see any drama started by her. She also works a lot to improve her artwork and it has gone long ways in the past years. Surely, Nordanners bring a lot of social status at this moment in time, but I was there a lot before the fame and all I can say that if you don't know her or are just stalking her for breedings, you are missing out.

I chose to draw Pilgrim because well, Denver's been so excited about him lately and he is a token of appreciation of all her hard work. Most people have absolutely no idea how much she has done for example for the Nordanners, and other breeds as well. She has this crazy OCD way of organizing things and boy does she get things done. Whenever she visits my account and sees my crazy clutterball of an inbox I bet her eyes pretty much bleed. So Anyway, my point is that you all should go congratulate her if you haven't already and appreciate this wonderful person. My brain is pretty frozen and broken at the moment so I cannot seem to physically produce understandable text anymore. I had all these cool and nice things I wanted to say but now my mind is blank :[ damnit.

But I wish you a good birthday and tons of energy drinks.

PS: I'm sorry I got you addicted with energy drinks in the first place :C I'm a bad person.
